JMC Bytes Devotional Series: Relationships

Galatians 5:19-21 ESV
Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Genesis 2:24 ESV
Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ESV
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Romans 12:1-2 ESV
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

EVERY Christian Has A MINISTRY to DO!

2 Corinthians 5:17-20

New International Version (NIV)

"17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God."
AMBASSADOR: : an official envoy; especially : a diplomatic agent of the highest rank accredited to a foreign government or sovereign as the resident representative of his or her own government or sovereign or appointed for a special and often temporary diplomatic assignment2a : an authorized representative or messengerb : an unofficial representative merriam-webster.com
So I have to ask you, have you accepted your AMBASSADORSHIP? Are you ready to spread the message of the Gospel, because Christ charged you with a task that ONLY YOU can do, it's NOT just the Pastor, worship leader, missionary, the BODY of CHRIST spreads the message as a WHOLE!

Hosea 3:1
[ Hosea's Reconciliation With His Wife ] The LORD said to me, "Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress. Love her as the LORD loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes."
Romans 5:11
Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:19
that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

JMC Bytes Devotional Series: Marriage

Ephesians 5:22-33 ESV
Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, ...

Ephesians 5:25-33 ESV
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, ...

A New POEM by Jeremy Caverley: Desperately Seeking

Desperately seeking
Longing for that simple touch
That goes deeper than the skin
Invading, creating, & loving something new
How simple can it be
For me to be able to see

A reflection
Shimmering in the sun
That transcends even into the night
As it pierces the dark and light
To merge into a stronger bond

That’s hidden away like a precious jewel
Kept safe from all harm
A treasure worth fighting for

Recap On Our Visit To Turn Point Church In Circleville Ohio

We have good news to share about our trip to Turn Point Church in Circleville, Ohio yesterday.  Miranda was able to come with me and sing plus share her personal testimony of being a survivor of Domestic Violence and also her continued fight with Crohn's Disease.

Miranda did tear up while sharing about her fight with Crohn's Disease, but was able to share that no matter what you have gone through, or are still going through in life, God can still use you to share the gospel.

This was the first time in 3 years that Miranda was able to minister at a church, so it was an emotional time for her and I both, and also not knowing when she will be able to do something like this again.

Miranda played a song she wrote called "Beautiful Sorrow" Played and sang "Beautiful, Beautiful" By Francesca Battistelli, and "Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone)" By Chris Tomlin.  Then Miranda and I did a duet of the song "Came To My Rescue" By Hillsong.  And I (Jeremy) then brought the message, I shared a bit of my own personal testimony of being homeless, going on my mission trip to South Africa in 2000 while homeless, and losing all my family at just the age of twenty. How Miranda and I met and started JMC Ministries and just what Miranda and I are trying to accomplish through JMC Ministries.  Then after I shared the message I sang the song I played on my mission trip to South Africa that has inspired me for 13 years called "Lord I Give You Me"

Many of the people came up and talked to us after the service and we were able to give away some of our music cd's along with some of the JMC LIVE interviews we have done over the past few years.

Our prayer through sharing what I call the mountains and valleys called our lives, is to show people that though Miranda and I have and are going through hard times here on earth that no matter what, God can still use you to bring people to him and be saved from their sins.  And also to inspire people to get out of the church and reach out to those in their communities and make a difference in peoples lives. And that "Adversity Is Over Come When You Let The Hottest Of Fires in Life, Forge You Into The Strongest Of Steel"

However, after the service Miranda was completely exhausted due to the Crohn's Disease, and had to come right home from church and she was literally in bed the rest of the day to recuperate. This is the terrible thing about what this disease does to her, it takes all her energy away and leaves her so sick and exhausted when she tries to do anything like this.

Miranda and I ask that you continue to pray for us as we continue to minister and share the gospel in the face of Miranda's fight with Crohn's Disease and other health problems.

We also want to ask you to pray for Turn Point Church, the pastor Mike Wells and His Wife. Along with those who attend and those who will be coming through the doors in the future to visit and attend.

wounded Knee Massacre
A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY TO THINK ABOUT.......December 29, 2012 marks the 122nd Anniversary of the murder of 297 Sioux Indians at Wounded Knee Creek on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. These 297 people, in their winter camp, were murdered by federal agents and members of the 7th Cavalry who had come to confiscate their firearms "for their own safety and protection". The slaughter began after the majority of the Sioux had peacefully turned in their firearms. The Calvary began shooting, and managed to wipe out the entire camp. 200 of the 297 victims were women and children. About 40 members of the 7th Cavalry were killed, but over half of them were victims of fratricide from the Hotchkiss guns of their overzealous comrades-in-arms. Twenty members of the 7th Cavalry's death squad, were deemed "National Heroes" and were awarded the Medal of Honor for their acts of [cowardice] heroism.

We hear very little of Wounded Knee today. It is usually not mentioned in our history classes or books. What little that does exist about Wounded Knee is normally a sanitized "Official Government Explanation". And there are several historically inaccurate depictions of the events leading up to the massacre, which appear in movie scripts and are not the least bit representative of the actual events that took place that day.

Wounded Knee was among the first federally backed gun confiscation attempts in United States history. It ended in the senseless murder of 297 people.

Cross Effects Church 1-6-13 The Sheep and The Goats

JMC Ministries Debuts their online church service "Cross Effects" That Will Be Broadcasted Every 1st Sunday of each month from 3-4p.m. EST at http://www.jmclive.com

The Sheep and the Goats

31 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

37 "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

40 "The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'

41 "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'

44 "They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'

45 "He will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'

46 "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
