With just these totals so far you would have spent 8006 hours of your life in 1 year. That only leaves you with only 759 hours left for GOD!
Right now think about this for a moment please. What could you rearrange in your life so that you would have more time for God? Is there something that you could let go and don't really need?
Please pray right now that the Holy Spirit will reveal to you what you need to change. Take a personal inventory of your life and allow Jesus to mold you into the person He wants you to be. Not what we as humans usually do and perfect ourselves to own image. But to be Christ-like and imitate His behavior.
The Bible says to pray without ceasing.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 (New Living Translation)
17 Never stop praying.
There comes a time in your life where you need to be able to be alone with your Heavenly Father.
Luke 5:16 (Contemporary English Version)
16But Jesus would often go to some place where he could be alone and pray.
Yes there is a time for everything.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-12 (New International Version)
Ecclesiastes 3
A Time for Everything
1 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
9 What does the worker gain from his toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on men. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live.
But with do measure your time responsibly and in order with God's plan for your life. Because Jesus wants a relationship with you, and if you don't have the self control to make yourself available to hear Him and talk to Him then you are defeating yourself from ever getting what is God's best plan for you! So don't spend your time in the past failures or hurts in your life. God wants to heal you and take you to new places so that you can reach others through your personal testimony. Yes God gives everyone a brand new start each day and when you repent and ask for forgiveness that slate is wiped clean!
Matthew 6:24-26 (Contemporary English Version)
Money
(Luke 16.13)
24You cannot be the slave of two masters! You will like one more than the other or be more loyal to one than the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
Worry
(Luke 12.22-31)
25I tell you not to worry about your life. Don't worry about having something to eat, drink, or wear. Isn't life more than food or clothing? 26Look at the birds in the sky! They don't plant or harvest. They don't even store grain in barns. Yet your Father in heaven takes care of them. Aren't you worth more than birds?
Jeremiah 29:11-12 (Today's New International Version)
11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
Proverbs 16:2-3 (New Living Translation)
2 People may be pure in their own eyes,
but the Lord examines their motives.
3 Commit your actions to the Lord,
and your plans will succeed.
Let this be the day the Lord has made and be glad in it! Set your mind on God and let Him create a clean heart within you! Now choose today to serve the Lord in gladness and in truth! Let your time reflect what God wants best for you!
Be Blessed,
