Since I Have My Life Before Me

By Brooke Bronkowski

I'll live my life to the fullest. I'll be happy. I'll brighten up. I will be more joyful than I have ever been. I will be kind to others. I will loosen up. I will tell others about Christ. I will go on adventures and change the world. I will be bold and not change who I really am. I will have no troubles but instead help others with their troubles.

You see, I'll be one of those people who live to be history makers at a young age. Oh, I'll have moments, good and bad, but I will wipe away the bad and only remember the good. In fact that's all I remember, just good moments, nothing in between, just living my life to the fullest. I'll be one of those people who go somewhere with a mission, an awesome plan, a world-changing plan, and nothing will hold me back. I'll set an example for others, I will pray for direction.

I have my life before me. I will give others the joy I have and God will give me more joy. I will do everything God tells me to do. I will follow the footsteps of God. I will do my best!!!

By: Jeremy Caverley

Brooke died her freshman year in a car accident. Almost fifteen hundred people showed up to her memorial service. There were around two hundred students on their knees praying for salvation. Ushers handed out Bibles. These same Bibles were the ones Brooke had in her garage. She prayed that her friends would come to know Jesus.

As short as the fourteen years Brooke was on Earth, she was continually faithful to Jesus. In her words from her essay: "You see I'll be on of those people who live to be history makers at a young age."

The sadness that comes from the death of a loved one and the grief to follow is very hard on everyone, no matter their age. Ecclesiastes talks about their is a time for everything and the New Testament mentions that God is their even in the troubled times.

But some people live selfish lives, with those who have passed away just become a fading memory. Only the close family members if any at all show up and grieve their loss. Usually no one says anything bad about the person who has passed, but overtime the bitterness either heals or gets worse. A. W. Tozer said it best, "A man by his sin may waster himself, which to waste that which on earth is most like God. This is man's greatest tragedy and God's heaviest grief."

God tends to do things that we don't always have the answers for. This in turn during times of grief can cause people to fall from their faith and get angry at God. Blaming Him for their loss and the problems they currently face. This is something that must change. God loves all of us the same. He always has and will always be there for us no matter how far we fall away, or how many tears we cry. Jesus is still there right along with us. Calling us back into His arms. Hoping we trust in Him to carry us through.

His work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built up survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.

1 Corinthians 3:13-15

This verse rings so ever true. The testing of our faith is a daily interaction with everything that comes our way. There is a time to grieve, but their is a time to heal as well.

Does Brooke's story touch your heart and make you want to endure and rise above your adverse situation today? I pray that it does and we learn to realize how unchanging God's love for us is and that we start to believe God is still in control at all times.

Freedom From Fear

Spirits of Fear

Fear is a sin. Therefore it must be dealt with as any sin through confession, repentance and forgiveness. Freedom is gained and maintained by walking out the truth and implementing the 8 R’s to Freedom.

What is fear?

·Being afraid, scared, worried, anxious, concerned that a bad thing is going to happen.

·Projecting into the future.

·Manifests as: 1. Fight or flight progressing to

2. Resistance reaction culminating in

3. Exhaustion.

The body and hypothalamus don’t know the difference between the two types of fear. Our body responds the same way to both. It produces the same hormones in reaction to fear and was not built to live in continual, on- going fear.

Fear is a sin

Fear at its root is a spiritual problem. The medical and psychiatric community acknowledges that fear, anxiety and stress cause many diseases.

Psychosomatic Disorder

---a mental disorder that causes somatic symptoms---

Psychosomatic or Somatoform disorders are among the most common psychiatric disorders found in general practice.

It is a condition of dysfunction or structural damage in bodily organs through inappropriate activation of the involuntary nervous system and the glands of internal secretion.

Psychosomatic disorder is mainly used to mean a physical disease which is thought to be caused, or made worse, by mental factors. Some physical diseases are thought to be particularly prone to be made worse by mental factors such as stress and anxiety.

Fear is a lack of trust in God. Fear is a lack of faith. Because of this, fear is a sin.

And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. (Rom...14:23.)

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Tim. 1:7)....

This spirit of fear is not from God; it is contrary to God. Over and over God says, “Fear Not!” Jesus says what is behind the fear is not trusting God. That which is not of faith is sin. When we have fear we are out of faith.

Who is the most fearful creature in creation?

Satan because he knows he’s already lost and his time is short.

Take no thought for tomorrow, be careful for nothing

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? (Mt. 6:25)

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (Mt. 6:31)

And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. (Lk. 12:22).

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (Phil. 4:6).

Fear is always a speculation – a projection into the future.

You cannot argue a person out of their fears

Logical arguments don’t work because the whole process is fear. Fear can be very logical, but it is based on no faith and not trusting God. We need to help the person see that the whole process of their thinking is the problem.

Fear and faith are equal– they both project into the future and both demand to be fulfilled.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.(Heb. 11:1).

Fear is the substance of things NOT hoped for.

We defeat fear by making right choices right now.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (2 Cor. 10:5).

The antidote to fear is relationship with God. Make yourself eternal. If you constantly hear“but what if ___________ happens?” you are listening to fear. You can’t argue against “what if…”

Ministering around fear

·Fear exacts a tremendous toll on the body.

· Fear is living in a projected future that is not good. Fear ultimately is not trusting God; it is alack of faith when we listen to fear.

·Worry is torment.

·The way to cast out fear is to love the person and help them receive love from God.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. (1Jn.4:18)

·Fear is dealt with through faith: choosing and receiving love from God and others and giving love. Many times it is a process. Sometimes we have so many fears that they need to be dealt with one a t a time. In addition, things such as unloving spirits may be blocking someone from receiving love.

·When we try to avoid our fears, this too is an act of fear. The only way to defeat those fears is to face them.

·A large part of our walk-out is facing our fears. In our day-to-day lives is where and when fear comes at us.

· For this reason, fear is not dealt with first in ministry. Anything that is not love towards us can take us into fear. If we don’t feel safe with someone this can take us into fear. Accusation, bitterness can be an open door to fear. Self bitterness can take us into fear. Not feeling good, insecurity, not feeling safe can feed fear. Rejection, not being loved, can send us into fear.

· Love and fear cannot coexist at the same time.

Are YOU Searching the INTERNET???

***INTERNET PORNOGRAPHY HAS DESTROYED MILLIONS OF LIVES.
IT IS NOT HARMLESS
FUN. IT IS NOT SOMETHING TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY. SATAN IS NOT PLAYING GAMES.

HE IS SERIOUS ABOUT DESTROYING MARRIAGES, FAMILIES, AND LIVES, AND INTERNET
PORN IS ONE OF HIS GREATEST 21ST CENTURY TOOLS TO ACCOMPLISH THAT.
IT IS NO
ACCIDENT YOU ARE READING THIS TODAY!!!

Internet pornography.
In one of today's anchor verses from Matthew's Gospel,
Jesus said, "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has
already committed adultery with her in his heart.
" Several years ago, famed
Criminal Defense Attorney Johnnie Cochran passed away from a brain tumor.

Cochran who will always be remembered as the architect of the defense team
that got O.J.
Simpson acquitted of double murder was as talented a lawyer as
there ever was.
However, even the great Johnnie Cochran could not get you
found "not guilty" of adultery if you are looking at pornography on the
Internet.
There is no difference in the eyes of God if you meet someone who
is not your spouse and have sex with them in a motel room, or if you sit in
front of your computer and lust after the images of someone who is not your
spouse.

Some people may not think Internet porn is a big deal.
Let me assure you
that it is a VERY BIG DEAL.
Sadly, I get to see the destroyed lives, the
broken marriages, the damaged children from pornography every single day.
A
myth is that porn is a male problem.
That may have been the case in the
past, but I can assure you that 50% of the people I deal with daily in
bondage to porn are women.

PORNOGRAPHY DESTROYS LIVES! It is not harmless entertainment.
It causes
people to lust which is a sin.
It destroys a person's sexual life as God
intended it to be. It leads people into bondage.
It progresses from
voyeurism to actually living out deviant sexual acts in real life.

Pornography ruins marriages, ruins a person's ability to have a normal,
healthy relationship with someone who they may actually fall in love with
and marry, and worst of all it damages a person's relationship with God.

Porn is a tool satan uses very effectively to "kill, steal, and destroy"
human lives!

The fact is, pornography on the Internet could be virtually wiped out and
eliminated IF there was a real desire to do so.
Right now, the only
technological tool to fight Internet porn is filtering.
Filtering does NOT
work no matter what the claims those who offer it want to make.
It either
filters too much content or not enough.
As soon as a new filter is offered,
in hours the porn industry has found ways around it.
In addition, most
junior high school children can get around any filter if they want to.

Filtering is as effective as 5 sandbags are in trying to stop a flood.

So how could porn be virtually wiped out and eliminated from the Internet?
You go after the MONEY! Internet porn is a billion dollar a year industry.

Cut off the money, and it ceases to exist.
When someone buys porn on the
Internet the money flows through the banking system, mostly through credit
cards. That money ultimately ends up in someone's bank account.
If credit
card companies quit processing porn transactions, if banks quit accepting
money from credit card clearing companies that handle pornography business,
if the government began doing serious investigations into the people and
companies who own the accounts the porn money ends up in, you could put a
HUGE dent in the Internet pornography business overnight.

The other way to shut down Internet porn is by companies that supply
bandwidth, refusing to sell the bandwidth needed to those businesses that
are putting pornography on the Internet.
Also, individual Internet Service
Providers (ISPs) like AOL, Roadrunner, Earthlink, Yahoo, MSN, or whichever
company you use, could block any domain that provided pornographic material.

Now some of you may be saying, if it is that easy why doesn't it happen.

That is a simple answer, MONEY.
Again, Internet porn is a BILLION DOLLAR
industry. It is HUGE business for the credit card companies.
It is HUGE
business for the banks.
It is HUGE business for the companies that sell
bandwidth. It is HUGE business for the ISPs.
I can guarantee you that as
easy as it would be to virtually eliminate all pornography from the Internet
overnight, it will NEVER HAPPEN because there are too many people making too
much money from it!!!

The other avenue to fight this battle is legally.
The problem there however
is gutless politicians with no desire to take on the pornography industry.

Larry Flynt and other powerful people in the porn business have shown in the
past a willingness to go after any politician that opposes them, not to
mention the fact that the porn industry gives lots of money to politicians.

Sadly, going after the entire pornography industry that will take in over 10
billion known dollars this year has not been a priority of the Bush
Administration or of the Attorney General.
Factor in liberal judges around
the country that will give the pornographers favorable rulings when cases
are brought to court, as well as the fact that 40% of Internet porn
originates from other countries, and the chance to stop Internet porn
through the legal system is simply a dream.

I love you and care about you so much.
Let me tell you this,The gospel will
be illegal on the Internet before pornography is! So what is the answer? For
parents, you have got to understand that using the Internet as a babysitter
is like allowing your child to play in the middle of a busy freeway during
rush hour. It is simply an accident waiting to happen.

You MUST be diligent and monitor what sites your child visits, monitor who
they chat with, and sit them down and have open and honest conversations
with them about the dangers of the Internet.
Talk to them about pornography
and why it is a sin.
Talk to them about being careful of who they may "meet"
in chatrooms.
The better they are trained on the dangers of the Internet,
the better equipped they will be when faced with those dangers.

As for adults who struggle with a bondage to pornography, it is a battle
like any other.
You have got to first be willing to admit you have a
problem, and then turn to the Lord to find the strength and plan to get
victory over your bondage.
This may be a wake up call for many who have this
problem in your life today.

*Listen to me, IT IS NO ACCIDENT YOU ARE READING THIS TODAY, GOD IS SPEAKING
TO YOU, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO GET VICTORY OVER THIS BATTLE WITH PORN ONCE
AND FOR ALL BEFORE IT DESTROYS YOUR LIFE!

I will be praying for you today.
Praying that you realize what a huge
problem Internet pornography is.
Sadly, because it is such a huge industry
the things that could be done to shut it down will never be done, both from
the technical and legal side.
That is sad because that only means it will
continue to be a growing problem we will have to deal with in our nation.

Now more than ever, the church has got to get serious about this issue.
We
have got to reach out to those in bondage to porn and help them find
deliverance through Christ.
We have got to continue to warn parents of this
danger so they can train their children to be aware of this trap that can
destroy their lives.
Ultimately, we have got to continue to share with this
lost and hurting world the fact that Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ alone is
the answer.
Whatever momentary satisfaction may be found in porn, it cannot
compare to the true joy that comes from Christ.

The business world is not going to fight this battle, the politicians are
not going to fight this battle, it is up to the people of God to fight this
battle!!!

Ray Boltz: ADMITS HE is GAY.......MY RESPONSE

HERE ARE A FEW QUOTES FROM THE INTERVIEW

"I didn't make a big deal of it," Boltz says during a 90-minute phone interview from his home in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. "But I was trembling. I'd kind of had two identities since I moved to Florida where I kind of had this other life and I'd never merged the two lives. This was the first time I was taking my old life as Ray Boltz, the gospel singer, and merging it with my new life. Emotionally it was kind of a big deal to think about that."

"I thought I hid it really well," he says. "I didn't know people could see what I was going through, the darkness and the struggle. After I came out to my family, one of my daughters said she was afraid to walk in my bedroom because she was afraid she'd find me — that I'd done something to myself. And I didn't even know they'd picked it up."

"I thought, 'Well, I can just do what I always do and hide the truth or I can take a risk and be honest,'" Boltz says. "That day, with the tsunami, has become very symbolic in our family."

"It's hard to say I came out because I didn't have all the answers. I just admitted what I was struggling with and what I was feeling. It's hard to go, 'This is the point where I accepted my sexuality and who I was,' but I came out to them and shared with them what I'd been going through."

"I'd denied it ever since I was a kid. I became a Christian, I thought that was the way to deal with this and I prayed hard and tried for 30-some years and then at the end, I was just going, 'I'm still gay. I know I am.' And I just got to the place where I couldn't take it anymore … when I was going through all this darkness, I thought, 'Just end this.'"

"I don't want to downplay it like it was just, 'Oh, well that's OK.' It was a very tough time for them too, but the bottom line was they loved me and they still love me … it's been an amazing journey of acceptance on their part … I was offered support and love from each member of my family, including my wife."

"Those were definitely wonderful, wonderful years," Boltz says. "There's absolutely no question about it … I believed what I sang but in the back of my mind, I always felt I could never quite measure up. So yes, they were good years, but there was also a lot of pain."

"You get to be 50-some years old and you go, 'This isn't changing.' I still feel the same way. I am the same way. I just can't do it anymore.'"

WE MUST FORGIVE RAY BOLTZ!

Matthew 18:34-35 (New International Version)

34In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.
35"This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart."
Matthew 6:14
For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Matthew 6:15
But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

WE MUST BE PURE IN OUR INTENTIONS!
Luke 6:42
How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

2 Corinthians 12:7
To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me.

THIS VERSE MANY OF US CAN RELATE TO.
ARE THERE SOME KIND OF SIN THAT ALWAYS COMES BACK TO TEMPT YOU??? That is this THORN in YOUR FLESH. A MESSENGER always wanting to TAKE YOU OUT!!!

1 Corinthians 6:9
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders

NOW THIS IS THE POINT WHERE I WILL PAUSE....

There are TWO PARTS TO THIS HAPPENING where we SHOULD NOT ASSOCIATE with these kind of people.

BUT IT IS NOT FOR MANY NEW CHRISTIANS TO TRY ALONE

HOW TO TELL SOMEONE TO REPENT

FIRST: REBUKE

SECOND:TELL HIM YOU FORGIVE HIM IF HE REPENTS

Luke 17:2-4 (New International Version)

2It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin. 3So watch yourselves.
"If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. 4If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, 'I repent,' forgive him."

Ezekiel 18:30

"Therefore, O house of Israel, I will judge you, each one according to his ways, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.

1 Corinthians 6:18
Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

2 Corinthians 12:21
I am afraid that when I come again my God will humble me before you, and I will be grieved over many who have sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they have indulged.

WE MUST REBUKE IN LOVE NOT HATE!
WE MUST HELP OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO STRUGGLE WITH SEXUAL SINS

COULD YOU IMAGINE A NEW CHRISTIAN WHO CAME FROM THE BACKGROUND???

THE LIVES THAT COULD BE CHANGED THROUGH THE TESTIMONY OF THERE LIFE!

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF SUCH A PERSON!

How ex-muslim Nabeel found Jesus is Lord

8 Rs to Freedom

8 Rs to Freedom

Becoming free from the sin that binds us is a simple process. Each of us needs to practice the 8 Rs moment by moment and claim the freedom in them.

1. Recognize

You must recognize the problem and the evil enemy in your life that is not from God

(Is 5:13; Hos. 4:6; Heb. 5:14, 4:13; Jer. 3:15)

SACRIFICE-What It Means To Follow Jesus Christ

1 Corinthians 4:9-16

9For it seems to me that God has put us apostles on display at the end of the procession, like men condemned to die in the arena. We have been made a spectacle to the whole universe, to angels as well as to men. 10We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, we are dishonored! 11To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless. 12We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; 13when we are slandered, we answer kindly. Up to this moment we have become the scum of the earth, the refuse of the world.

14I am not writing this to shame you, but to warn you, as my dear children. 15Even though you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. 16Therefore I urge you to imitate me.

1 Corinthians 4:18-21
18Some of you have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you. 19But I will come to you very soon, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only how these arrogant people are talking, but what power they have. 20For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. 21What do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a whip, or in love and with a gentle spirit?

I write this to you today to remind you of my past. I have been homeless for standing up for the Lord. I have been beated and made a fool of for my belief in Christ.

Many people never thought that persecution and martyrs could be found in America.

It is coming.......

Here is an example of such an American martyr.

CASSIE BERNALL

In the aftermath of the horrific massacre at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, it is difficult to look beyond the pain. It seems almost disrespectful to the victims to try to see any good coming from this awful crime, but God has a way of mining jewels of hope out of the depths of even the most senseless tragedy. The testimony of Cassie Bernall is one such jewel.

Cassie was only seventeen, but even at that tender age, she had become a source of inspiration to her peers. Classmates say she was well-known for always bringing her Bible with her to school. The "What Would Jesus Do?" bracelet she wore was more than mere ornamentation for Cassie--it was her way of life. In a video shown at Cassie's funeral, she can be heard to say that her goal was to get rid of all hypocrisy, and truly live out her faith. Cassie achieved her goal--in a way that none of us can truly comprehend.

Two teen gunmen stormed Cassie's school, showing no mercy. Many have speculated as to the killers' motives and methods. Many victims were atheletes, but some were not. We will never really know why Cassie was chosen to die. Perhaps they knew of her reputation. Perhaps her bracelet caught their attention. What we do know is that when they came to her, they found her hiding beneath a table, praying. She was saying, "God, why is this happening? I just want to go home." A widely circulated story tells that one of the murderers asked her "Do you believe in God?" Reportedly she replied, "There is a God...and you should follow his path."*

In a way, Cassie's prayer was answered in an instant, for now she is truly home. But she did not die in vain.

As news of her faith reached the media, the true impact of her passing began to materialize. As a result of her death, the story of her faith was bounced off satellites and broadcast around the globe. Countless newspapers and magazines have reprinted her story, and literally
hundreds of millions of people have heard of her courage and faith in God.

I praise God for Cassie Bernall. Whether or not the story of her proclamation is accurate, I still believe she truly embodied the words of the Apostle Paul, "For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain."(Phil.1:21) But along with Cassie there were many others, I'm convinced, who would have made that declaration. The pages of history are punctuated with the blood of courageous thousands who boldly professed their faith in God in the face of great danger and even certain death. Why? Are Cassie and the others just "fanatics?" The explanation is simple: Jesus is real. Cassie knew it in her heart. And I know it too.

Cassie was prepared to go, and today she rests in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Are you ready? If you had been staring down the barrel of the shotgun instead of Cassie, what would your response have been? When Cassie went to school that morning, she could not have imagined that she was living her last day on earth. Give your life to Jesus today. There may be no tomorrow.
