Why Did Satan Disguise Himself As A Serpent?

Make sure there are no cracks in your foundation for the serpent to slither into.
Why did Satan disguise himself as a serpent? That, was the question that God brought to my mind this afternoon.
Why did Satan Disguise himself as a serpent when he came to Eve to tempt her to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?
I thought to myself OK, I then let out a big sigh and began to deeply ponder on this.
First, let us start before God even created the earth and the garden of Eden.
The bible says in Genesis chapter 1 Verses 1 and 2 (amplified bible)
In the beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.
And then after that God spoke and created everything upon the earth and within the earth, and planted the Garden Of Eden. (reference Genesis 2: 8-25 amplified bible version
We know the garden was a place upon the earth. It was NOT the whole earth.
The garden was a place God made for Adam to live. Where God himself would come and walk with Adam (Reference Genesis 3: 8,9 amplified bible version)
The Garden was also a place where sin was not allowed. Because, God cannot look upon sin, that is why Jesus had to come to earth.
So outside the garden of Eden was where sin was. That is true, because the bible says that Satan and his demons were cast down upon the earth. And Satan prowls around the earth like a roaring lion seeking who he can destroy (Reference Isaiah 14: 12-15 Ezekiel 28:11-19 1Peter 5:8 amplified bible version)
This also is true, because once Adam and eve sinned they were cast out of the garden of Eden and into the world. And an Angel with a flaming sword was placed to stand guard at the Entrance to the garden so no one could go back in. (Reference Entire Chapter 3 of Genesis and 2 Corinthians 11:1-6 Amplified bible version)
And that was when God stopped walking upon the earth side by side with man until he sent our savior Jesus Christ to be born.
Now let us get back to Satan:
Satan was the original sinner. He was cast out of heaven along with a third of the heavenly angels.
So how could the original sinner be able to gain access into the garden of Eden where no sin was allowed?
The answer: He disguised himself.
But why did he pick the form of the serpent?
The bible says that the serpent was the most cunning and crafty of all the animals God had created. (Reference Genesis chapter 3 amplified bible version)
So it comes as no surprise that Satan would choose the form of the serpent.
Now it does not say this in the bible, but I would imagine there were Angels guarding the Garden of Eden even before the fall of Adam and Eve. Because, God has said in the bible that he has his heavenly angels protecting us and heavenly places from Satan and his demons.
Why else would Satan need to disguise himself to gain access to Eve.
The Bible says Lucifer/Satan was beautiful and can make himself appear as an angel of light to deceive people. (Reference 2 Corinthians 11: 12-15Amplified bible version)
God’s holy Angels know what Satan looks like in his true form. I am certain that he would have been stopped from entering the garden of Eden by an Angel if he had been in his true form.
So to gain access to the garden, and then to Eve, Satan disguised himself as one of God’s earthly creations. And as we all know, the rest is history.
How does all this correlate to what is happening in the world today?
Clearly we are living in the end times by what is happening in our world.
(Reference Entire Chapters of Matthew 24 and 25 Amplified bible version)
The bible talks of the great deception. How people will refuse truth, be blinded by their sin and their hearts will be waxed worse and worse.
The devil only had to deceive Eve and Adam when he first came and deceived man. However, in the end times, he comes to deceive the entire world. That is over a billion people!
So Satan must have a much better disguise than his first, for to be able to deceive the whole world. (Reference Ephesians 6:12)
The bible says Satan/the Antichrist will present himself as the savior of the world. He will convince the world that he will bring peace to the earth. He will appear to be healed of a mortal wound emphasis on that word appear. He will appear to work miracles and wonders, calling himself God/Messiah. Even convincing the Jews to allow himself to sit upon the throne of the third temple that will eventually be built in Jerusalem.
(Reference 2 John 1:7-10 Revelation 12:7-17 Revelation 13:1-18 Revelation 16:13-16 Revelation 19:14-21 Revelation 20:1-10 Amplified bible version)
DO NOT BE DECEIVED!!! Test every spirit. You can no longer trust your senses. Satan and his demons are twisting and distorting everything we see, hear, smell, and touch.
See through Satan’s disguise! Rip off that disguise he wears and expose him and his demons for they really are.
The Holy Spirit helps us to discern what is of God and what is of Satan.
(Reference Proverbs 4:1 Proverbs 11:9 John 14:26 Galatians 6:7 Colossians 1:8-10 amplififed bible version)
The devil is the man behind the curtain, just like in the book/movie The Wizard Of Oz.
Satan is using his smoke, mirrors, and slight of hand to control and instil fear on the people of this world to control them.
Satan is a HUMBUG!!! He only has the power that which we give him. He cannot stand against the name and word of God and is completely destroyed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
I employ you to walk up to that curtain that satan hides behind. Pull it back just like dorothy did in the wizard of oz and expose Satan for who he is. DO NOT BE DECEIVED!
Revelation 22:12-21 Amplified bible
12 Behold, I am coming soon, and I shall bring My wages and rewards with Me, to repay and render to each one just what his own actions and his own work merit. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last (the Before all and the End of all).
14 Blessed (happy and [c]to be envied) are those who cleanse their garments, that they may have the authority and right to [approach] the tree of life and to enter through the gates into the city. 15 [But] without are the dogs and those who practice sorceries (magic arts) and impurity [the lewd, adulterers] and the murderers and idolaters and everyone who loves and deals in falsehood (untruth, error, deception, cheating).
16 I, Jesus, have sent My messenger (angel) to you to witness and to give you assurance of these things for the churches (assemblies). I am the Root (the Source) and the Offspring of David, the radiant and brilliant Morning Star. 17 The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, the true Christians) say, Come! And let him who is listening say, Come! And let everyone come who is thirsty [who is painfully conscious of his need [d]of those things by which the soul is refreshed, supported, and strengthened]; and whoever [earnestly] desires to do it, let him come, take, appropriate, and drink the water of Life without cost.
18 I [personally solemnly] warn everyone who listens to the statements of the prophecy [the [e]predictions and the consolations and admonitions pertaining to them] in this book: If anyone shall add anything to them, God will add and lay upon him the plagues (the afflictions and the calamities) that are recorded and described in this book. 19 And if anyone cancels or takes away from the statements of the book of this prophecy [these [f]predictions relating to Christ’s kingdom and its speedy triumph, together with the consolations and admonitions or warnings pertaining to them], God will cancel and take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the city of holiness (purity and hallowedness), which are described and promised in this book.
20 He Who gives this warning and affirms and testifies to these things says, Yes (it is true). [Surely] I am coming quickly (swiftly, speedily). Amen (so let it be)! Yes, come, Lord Jesus! 21 The grace (blessing and favor) of the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be [g]with all the saints (God’s holy people, [h]those set apart for God, to be, as it were, exclusively His). Amen (so let it be)!
