Miranda's Bio

Miranda Caverley was born and raised in Chillicothe Ohio. She comes from the lineage of ordained ministers. At the age of 12, she gave her heart to the Lord and became a Christian. At the age of 3 Miranda started to play the drums. Her journey in music started with her family. There she traveled around south central Ohio as they preached and sang the message of the Lord. Her mother was very influential by teaching her about the puppet ministry she performed with her sister. Then at the age of 15, Miranda traveled sang and drums for local churches, songfests with her family, and friends. At the age of 21 Miranda began learning the piano and through this she found a new way to reach out to others and tell them about Christ through the music she composed. She performed in a mother/daughter banquet at Pleasant Valley Methodist Church in Chillicothe, Ohio in 2004 and again in 2005. Also in 2004, the Salvation Army invited her to play drums for their church in Chillicothe. Then in 2006 she was approached by Major Jim Sayer the head officer of the Salvation Army Chillicothe Corps, to play drums for the Southwest Ohio Northeast Kentucky Territory Women's retreat in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was asked again to play for the women's retreat in 2008. Also in 2006, she played for another women's retreat with the New Covenant Church of Christ in Christian Union in Waverly, Ohio. From 2004 until present, Miranda and her friend Nate Vanderhoof-youth director of Salvation Army Chillicothe, formed Diversity Puppet Ministries. It was here she formed a lasting friendship and fellow ministry partner that continues today. They sang and performed the various puppet skits that brought a heart felt and humorous message about the love of Christ. They held events at Trinity Lighthouse, Salvation Army, Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and Fairview Church. After Marrying her husband Jeremy in 2007 she then helped form JMC Ministries.
