JMC Verses The Raccoons

For the past couple of months we have been having little visitors at night that come and tear into our trash and scatter it all over our yard. The Raccoon or Raccoons We haven't figured out if there are more than one yet but we are pretty sure there are.
So after having to continually pick trash up out of our yard we decided it would be best if we kept the trash cans in the back of our Pick up Truck. Well that confused them for about 2 weeks but then they started climbing into the back of our truck and tearing into the cans still. They even learned how to take the lids off of them!
This was less of a battle since the Raccoons left the trash in the back of the Truck and didn't scatter it all over our yard and God's Creation.
One week I came up with an ingenious idea, I will make peanut butter sandwiches and line them with rat poison. I know I know it's horrible but we were desperate. However those little boogers didn't eat the sandwiches. They carefully opened the sandwiches up and it looked like they took a lick of it and then left it and wouldn't eat it! It was like they knew what we were trying to do and they out smarted us.
So after dealing with that. We went and bought some rope to tie down the trash can.
Now we weren't sure if this would stop them but it just might we thought. But then again they might just be stubborn enough to sit there all night and chew through the rope until they could get into the trash cans that are still in the back of the truck.
For the past almost week we haven't had any problems the trash cans were untouched and still tied securely by the rope.
UNTIL......Today!
This morning I (Miranda) went out to go to my Grandma's to do some trimming in her yard and to do our laundry.
I walked outside and saw that the trash can was on it's side and low and behold those little boogers had untied the knots in the ropes and ripped open the 3 full bags of trash (which mind you had no food in them) and here we are with another huge mess in the back of my truck along with dozens of muddy paw prints all over our vehicles.
How in the world did these raccoons figure out how to untie a professional knot I will never know. All I can say is I have no clue how to out smart these animals.
I told my grandma these raccoons deserve a degree in out smarting humans. So we are literally back at square one again. The only option we have left is to trap them and carry them away where they will not bother us anymore. Hopefully this Sunday we will get a trap from my other Grandma and we will begin catching these intelligent rodents. Unless they figure out how to get out of a metal cage too.

Satan has a contract out on The Followers of God

When you are a follower of Jesus Christ. Satan will have a contract out on you to be killed and destroyed. He will use any means possible to try and accomplish this

How do we know this? Because we have experienced it first hand.

Last night on our JMC LIVE Show we were covering the 3rd part of our Mission Series “Mission Forgiveness” How to forgive those who have hurt you.  We then did an after the show show which normally those who are in the chatroom get to call in and we really just relax and just kinda let our hair down and get interactive with our viewers. But Satan didn’t like this so he showed up last night. A man came into the chatroom that called himself Reverend He began trying to say that JMC Ministries is racists and hates all people who are not Christians especially Muslims. When we weren’t even talking about Islam or Muslims we were talking about Forgiveness.

This man who clearly was either possessed or oppressed by a demon began to write paragraphs of nonesense in the chat talking about how Muslims don’t beat women, oppress women and treat them different from men.

But just a few minutes later he Threatened Miranda. He said he wanted to punch her in the face. Now Miranda was not on Camera and was not doing majority of the talking. But there was a caller that had called in and asked the question where did the Islam Religion originate from? Miranda answered the question saying it originated with Abraham because Abraham slept with his wife Sarahs servant and she born Ishmael who is the basically the father of Islam When Miranda said that That was when the man said he wanted to punch Miranda.

It literally shocked everyone who was viewing and in the chatroom that someone would blatantly attack Miranda in this manner but when a person is being used by Satan they will say and do anything to try and place fear into a person and silence them. That did not happen Jeremy saw what the man had written and immediately banned him from coming into the chatroom anymore. He said, “I will not allow someone to threaten my wife” and that was the end of it.

But see Satan revealed him self through this man and showed those who were viewing and chatting the chatroom that this was not just some crazy person that was trying to start problems but an actual demon that it was out to try and do harm to Miranda and try to scare her.

This man has a heart filled with hate and murder. We forgive him and pray that whoever this person is that the love of Christ infiltrate into his life and change him from the inside out.

When you speak Truth Satan hates that because it takes his power away. So he will send people who are being used by him to attack those who are Children of God.

This is not the first time Miranda or Jeremy have been attacked so openly by people and are sure it won’t be the last but we will not allow this to stop the message God has given us to share with a world that is lost hurting and in need of the Love of God.

Scripture tells us that No weapon formed against us will prosper and as long as we are covered by the blood of Jesus and call on his name and rebuke these demons they must flee.

Spring Is Here and So Is JMC

We have noticed we have more than neglected our blog updates. So please forgive us for those who follow us. Much has been happening for JMC Ministries.

For much of February and March Miranda was sick and through pray and faith in God we know that this is why she has been getting better in the past few weeks. For these months we were unable to go to church or fellowship with our friends other than via phone or our social networking sites online. We thank all who have been there for us through these trying times your messages, phone calls and prayers were greatly appreciated. We ask that you to pray for Miranda as she continues to recover and show progress.

It seems we have been much more busy in the past few months than ever before with JMC Ministries. We have been receiving more phone calls, and messages from people who we have been able to help who are dealing with a lot in their lives and just need someone to talk to. We are humbled and blessed that they feel comfortable enough to talk with us. We only pray that we are a vessel for God to use to show his love. We truly try to be available 24 hours a day for people if they need to call or chat with us or just need a friend to talk to.

The JMC LIVE Show has been growing as well. In the past 2 months we have done 1 live interview with our good Friends Patti Cunningham and her Adopted Son Jude Isaac of Kingdom Builders International about their mission work in Uganda, Haiti, and Jamaica. Then we on Friday April 2, 2010 did another interview via telephone with a Christian Metal Band from Fremont California called I've Died Daily. But even our Regular JMC LIVE Shows we have begun to receive more people coming and really starting to interact with us through the chat room and calling in during the show to share their thoughts and even some amazing stories of how God is using them. To quote a caller he said, "I told my wife as we were driving home tonight that we had to get home so I wouldn't miss your show." So God is blessing others through our show to reach out to others and fellowship with them no matter where in the country or the world they may be.

On March 29, 2010 Jeremy started College at Ohio University here in Chillicothe Ohio. He is planning on Getting his Associates Degree In Computer Science. So for the Next 2 years Jeremy will be a full time Student. He's only been in class a week but already loves it. For the Spring Semester he is taking, Computers, Public Speaking, and Math. His favorite class is Public Speaking and his least is Math but all the classes are required so he will make it through. We all are proud of him and can't wait until he graduates in 2012. His ultimate goal is to get his masters but he is taking it one step at a time, and I think that is very wise of him.

NEW MUSIC! Yes we have been working on some new music. Miranda Recorded "Lead Me To The Cross" For the Easter Holiday. She played the drums, piano and did the vocals on the track. We bought a new professional music program and so now our Music will be more professional sounding and mixed compared to past recordings. Jeremy is also working on some new music to record when he has some free time between College and ministry work.

Yesterday was Easter and we attended Centerpoint Church here in Chillicothe Ohio. It is a new church that is lead by young adults. The services are held in our Local Movie Theater which is very neat. We really enjoyed their Easter Service and getting to know some of the people at the church. We found out that some people we attended another church with years ago go to Centerpoint so we weren't completely strangers. We hope to start to attend Centerpoint on a regular basis.
