A great ministry opportunity literally walked through our door yesterday in the form of our Landlord. She works with Wycliffe Bible Translators and she brought us a whole packet plus 14 tickets to give a way for a Banquet that Wycliffe will be holding on November 15, 2010 at 7:00 P.M In Chillicothe Ohio at the Christopher Conference Center.
Needless to say we are more than a little excited to be able to go to this event and even be able to give a way free tickets to those who live in and around the Chillicothe Ohio area. The guest speaker for the event is a woman named Grace Fabian She and her husband have worked in Papua new Guinea since 1969 and translate the bible into their language. However in 1993 Grace's Husband Edmund while working at his desk translating 1 Corinthians 13 known as the Love Chapter Edmund was brutally murdered by a local villager. Inspite of it all Grace has continued to work as a bible translator so that all may hear and read the word of God.
Through out this event we hope to form long lasting relationships and be able to work more with Wycliffe Bible Translators. We follow their ministry and share about them on our social networking sites and think they are just doing an awesome job.
We also hope to get an exclusive JMC LIVE interview with someone at the banquet and allow them to share their testimony of how they got involved with Wycliffe and everything they are doing to spread the word of God to all corners of the world.
